I have always been interested in the physcology behind people’s desire to tattoo permanent ink of words or images on their body.

What is the thinking behind people’s decision to get a tattoo?

Some people hide their tattoos while others will want to share them with the world. Why will someone get a tribal tattoo or Japanese character tattoo from a culture they know very little about? Tattoos are no longer taboo. They are quite common and a person’s decision to get a tattoo is now celebrated rather than frowned upon.
